An opportunity is available for a hands-on Senior Change Analyst / mid-level Change Manager to join a NSW Government department delivering a new enterprise ERP solution across Finance and HR. This role sits within an established digital transformation program and is focused on executing existing change management plans, not redefining strategy. You will work closely with project delivery, business stakeholders, and existing change and training leads to support successful adoption through testing, cutover, and transition to BAU.

Reporting to the Senior Change Lead, you will join a program that is already well advanced, with design nearing completion and the solution moving into integration testing from March, followed by cutover from September onwards.

This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone who enjoys working in the detail, using established artefacts, and taking clear direction.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering hands-on change activities aligned to existing change management plans
  • Using and maintaining existing change templates, tools, and artefacts
  • Developing and maintaining a Change Project Plan aligned to the master project plan
  • Supporting change delivery across both Finance and HR ERP streams
  • Working closely with the Communications Advisor (CA) to produce change and engagement collateral
  • Coordinating change activities with existing Training and Project plans
  • Preparing and enabling SMEs to deliver change activities into the business
  • Supporting integration testing, readiness activities, cutover, and transition to BAU
  • Tracking change impacts, risks, and dependencies and escalating where required
  • This role is not client-facing and does not involve redefining strategy, stakeholder models, or overall change frameworks.
Technology Context 
Finance:
  • ERP solution: Oracle
  • Change impact is localised (approx. 25–30 users)
  • Focus is primarily on training and user support, rather than major process change
  • Government ERP experience preferred
HR:
  • ERP solution: SAP SuccessFactors
  • Broader and deeper change impact across the organisation (approx. 1,200 users)
  • Business process change is more significant than Finance
  • An existing Training Manager is in place; additional training experience in this role is beneficial
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience delivering change and training activities on ERP programs (HR and/or Finance)
  • Experience working within government or complex commercial environments
  • Strong capability in executing change plans, communications, engagement, and readiness activities
  • Confidence working to direction and within established frameworks
  • Experience supporting testing, cutover, and deployment phases
  • Ability to coordinate closely with Change, Training, Communications, and Project teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project tools
  • Experience with other ERP platforms such as Workday or Dynamics will also be considered, as they present similar change challenges.
  • You are a practical, delivery-oriented Change professional who is comfortable stepping into an existing program and getting on with execution.
