About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Risk Management System (RMS) uplift, supporting a broader enterprise Risk Transformation program. This role is responsible for delivering two remaining system releases, Issues & Actions and Incident Management & Reporting, on a configuration-heavy GRC platform (Protecht or similar). You will step into an established delivery plan and drive execution in a hybrid waterfall / agile environment, working closely with vendors, technology teams, and senior risk stakeholders. Experience delivering Protecht or similar GRC / risk platforms is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of the existing plan, including schedule, dependencies, resources, RAID, and release milestones
  • Enforce scope discipline and change control, maintaining agreed MVP definitions and traceability to approved requirements
  • Lead vendor delivery and contractual management, including SOWs, milestones, SLAs, and commercial tracking
  • Oversee testing strategy and execution for configuration-heavy systems, including UAT readiness, defect management, and exit criteria
  • Coordinate cross-stream dependencies within a multi-stream Risk Transformation program
  • Govern reporting definitions, risk taxonomies, and data lineage, ensuring alignment to enterprise risk standards
  • Drive business change and adoption, including change impacts, communications, training, and post-go-live hypercare
  • Manage senior stakeholders and governance forums, providing clear, concise status and risk reporting
  • Orchestrate cutover, go-live readiness, and operational handover
Key Challenges
  • Maintaining scope control in a hybrid delivery environment with evolving reporting expectations
  • Managing vendor delivery under tight timelines and contractual commitments
  • Ensuring testing rigor while keeping solutions close to off-the-shelf configurations
  • Supporting adoption of refreshed risk standards and taxonomy across multiple lines of accountability
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong scope management and change control in hybrid (waterfall + agile) delivery environments
  • Proven vendor management experience for enterprise platforms (Protecht preferred)
  • Hands-on oversight of testing for configuration-based systems with workflows
  • Ability to manage business change and cross-stream dependencies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Preferred Background
  • 8–12+ years’ experience delivering projects in regulated or financial services environments
  • Delivery experience with GRC platforms (Protecht ideal) or risk systems covering issues, incidents, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of risk taxonomies, controls, and reporting standards
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) and Agile delivery credentials
  • Experience using Jira/Confluence or Azure DevOps, MS Teams/SharePoint, and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Strong possibility of extension based on program demand
  • rewrite it in a more contract-focused tone, or
  • tailor a Protecht-only version to filter out non-GRC PMs.
