Ethos BeathChapman is partnering with a NSW Government Department to deliver a large-scale System Modernisation Program and we are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join the Information & Technology division on a 12-month contract.

As the Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end technical architecture for a multi-year system modernisation initiative. Working closely with the CIO, Program Manager, Product Owners, ICT operations teams and multiple delivery partners, you will design and guide contemporary solutions across the Microsoft enterprise ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and respond to detailed business requirement specifications (BRS) ensuring alignment with current and future ICT capabilities.
  • Provide strategic input to enterprise architecture and technology investment direction.
  • Evaluate functional and technical requirements across high-impact, multi-technology projects.
  • Design Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions including data models, configurations, customisations, integrations, canvas and model-driven apps.
  • Act as the technical authority, able to communicate conceptually and document architecturally.
  • Collaborate with product managers, security, privacy, data teams, and vendors to deliver a cohesive technical strategy.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation: solution designs, technical specs, data models and architectural diagrams.
Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in enterprise solution architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical and business considerations to drive innovation.
  • Deep experience across cloud, data management, security and integration domains.
  • Strong vendor management experience (minimum 3 years working with large vendors).
  • Proven experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Expertise in Microsoft technology stack:
  • MS Dynamics 365
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • MS Azure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Prior experience in the Public Sector is essential.
  • A proactive, accountable team player who can lead through influence.
