A NSW Government department based in Parramatta is seeking an experienced Functional Test Lead to support the implementation and go-live of SAP SuccessFactors as part of a major HR systems transformation. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide both strategic test leadership and hands-on delivery across a high-impact program.
In this role, you will act as the functional SME, providing configuration guidance across key SuccessFactors modules and ensuring all system changes meet business requirements. You will lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test strategy, planning, script development, defect tracking, regression testing, and UAT coordination. You will also participate directly in test execution, data validation, and configuration adjustments as required.

Working closely with HR, Digital, project teams, and external vendors, you will develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and functional specifications that support a smooth transition to the new platform. You will play a central role during go-live and stabilisation, providing guidance to business users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all testing and functional documentation is complete and audit-ready. Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capabilities are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a SuccessFactors functional specialist with testing leadership experience to contribute to a large-scale government transformation. If you bring experience across HRIS implementation, UAT leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on configuration, and you thrive in fast-paced environments balancing strategic oversight with practical delivery, we encourage you to apply.

What's On Offer

This is an excellent 6 month contract opportunity for an experienced Test Lead / Manager with SuccesFactors implementation experience to support a high-impact implementation project.
