A high-profile enterprise organisation in Sydney is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing across a major regulatory transformation program impacting key enterprise applications. This contract role offers the opportunity to oversee quality and assurance across multiple technology workstreams, supporting the delivery of secure, compliant, and high-performing digital solutions.
In this role, you will define and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering integration, system, performance, security, and user acceptance testing. You will manage testing across modern technology stacks including Java microservices, React applications, APIs, and data platforms, ensuring traceability from requirements through to test outcomes and release readiness.

You will work closely with PMO, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to coordinate UAT, manage defects, and provide clear reporting and dashboards on quality and risk. The role includes driving test automation and CI/CD integration, ensuring regulatory and security standards are met, and uplifting testing maturity through coaching and mentoring test analysts and automation engineers.

Essential skills and experience:
  • Minimum 10+ years in software testing, with at least 5 years in test management roles.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end testing in large-scale technology programs.
  • Ability to influence and mentor teams, coupled with strong stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of integration testing, system testing, and UAT coordination.
  • Expertise in functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Familiarity with Java and React application testing, API testing (REST/GraphQL), and data validation.
  • Ideally you will have previous hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, Cucumber).
