About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Development Manager to support the delivery of a major $302 million state government public transport program focused on expanding bus services across Western Sydney.
This role sits within a large, matrixed transport environment and is responsible for progressing an in-flight delivery stream, ensuring public transport services are enabled by fit-for-purpose civil infrastructure and delivered in line with governance, safety and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of civil infrastructure projects that enable new bus services, including bus interchanges and layovers
  • Manage allocated project streams, progressing milestones through to program finalisation
  • Review and coordinate infrastructure designs, investigations, and technical documentation
  • Work closely with infrastructure delivery partners, planning teams, bus operators, and place-based teams
  • Ensure compliance with state government governance, reporting, and approval processes
  • Engage effectively with local councils and external stakeholders
  • Support high-profile program deliverables, including ministerial milestones and announcements

About You
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience delivering public transport or major infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of state government governance and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in bus or rail environments highly regarded
  • Confident working in matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to hit the ground running in a complex, fast-paced delivery environment
  • Background in consultancy and/or large transport programs will be highly regarded
