This is an established Financial Services group, with renowned brand collateral. The need for an experienced Internal IT Audit Director has become available for a 12 month maternity leave contract. This position will be part-time (3-4 days per week) and you will report directly to the CAE with full people leadership accountability.  Your mandate is to lead and ensure the delivery of the IT Audit Plan focusing on Traditional IT Audits (ITGC + Appl Reviews),  Cyber / Project & Transformation / Data Governance audits across whole of business.
 
The ideal candidate will be a  Snr IT Audit Manager / EM IT Audit / IT Audit Director or small company Head of IT Audit / you could be in Technology risk currently, however, will have had a background in IT Audit recently. Strong consulting, advisory skills needed with the ability to effectively lead the IT Audit team. This position is PART-TIME (3-4 days per week) – Sydney based.

You will be either CISA / CISSP / CISM / CRISC or other qualified, technical with excellent communication and influencing skills.
 
Some key tasks:
  • Manage the IT Audit strategy for the audit team.
  • Team leadership, resourcing and coaching.
  • Leading all client conversations with strong stake holder management skills required.
  • Attending sub-committee and specialist steering committees, guest at the BARC meetings.
  • Execute audits according to the IT Audit framework across ITGC’s, Cyber / Project & Transformation / Data Governance.
  • Experience gained in Cyber Security / Control frameworks such as ITIL / CoBIT or NIST / Essential Eight Maturity  and/or Protective Security Frameworks will bey highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Project / Transformation in AGILE or Waterfall methodology – understanding of delivered or delivery risk advantageous but not essential.
  • Well-developed written and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with stakeholders (internally / externally) are essential. You will be a strong team player and enjoy working in a forward thinking, collaborative team environment that offers a lot of flexibility and an abundance of future growth potential.
Due to this companies work policy, you will need to be based in NSW, however an excellent WLB model offered, working with a modern and forward-thinking leader.
