We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded national Professional Services firm experiencing exponential growth, with a robust pipeline of work across the Government &  Industry sectors. As part of this expansion, a newly created opportunity has arisen for an Internal Audit & Risk professional to step into a Snr Manager position.
This position is based in Canberra and all applications needs at min. a Baseline Security Clearance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, plan, scope and manage the full lifecycle of internal audit programs and selected risk reviews.
Identify and recommend improvements in clients' internal control environments and risk management frameworks, aligned with regulatory standards.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a key contact and presenting findings with clarity and impact.
Coach and mentor junior team members, contributing to a high-performance and supportive team culture.
Assist in the preparation of bids / proposals, identify cross or up-selling opportunities.
Collaborate across business lines, coach & train staff members and assist in staff recruitment activities.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 6+ years’ experience in internal audit, risk, or assurance—preferably from a Big 4, mid-tier, or chartered environment.
Relevant qualifications: CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA or Degree only.
A commercial and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify value-add opportunities.
Strong time management, above average writing and communication skills.
A team-focused approach and a passion for delivering impactful work.
