Join this high performing Insurance company as an Employee Relations team as a lead on a 12 month fixed term contract with high potential for extension. This role will see you engage with stakeholders across the business as you take on diverse projects including developing policies to support their people and leaders.

The role will involve leading implementation and governance of their legislative, industrial, and other obligations; and management of complex employee relations matters and provision of trusted and compliant (AU or NZ legislation) employee relations advice.  
You will also work closely and engage subject matter experts from across the wider People and Culture team to deliver on compliance obligations and outcomes.  

In order to be eligible for this role you will have:

  • Seven or more years’ experience as a senior ER practitioner in a commercial organisation of significant complexity and preferably across multiple jurisdictions.  
  • Experience working in and ideally driving projects, including working with cross-functional teams.  
  • Strong analytical skills.  
  • Experience working in an agile environment, exercising good judgement with incomplete information.  
  • Strategic mindset – able to anticipate issues and take an active approach resolving them.  
  • Courage and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.  
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and upskilling leaders and HR practitioners.  
  • Proven ability to actively keep abreast of changes in external environment and translate into internal environment.  
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across whole of function and broader group to reach common approach
