My client, in the higher education sector, is looking for a Senior BA to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving transformation initiatives impacting payroll efficiency and compliance. You will have experience working as a ‘hands on’ lead business analyst managing continuous improvement initiatives across Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll functions, and their integration.
Responsibilities include end-to-end initiative delivery, from scoping and facilitating discovery workshops to quantifying benefits, defining business requirements, managing vendor and ICT build and design, planning and managing test execution, and supporting implementation. We are needoing people with solid Workday HCM and Payroll experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR business stakeholders and systems analysts to document problems and identify root causes.
  • Create clear and concise documentation, including business and functional requirements, user stories, target state workflows, and test plans.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define requirements, workflows, user stories, and integration needs.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to validate solutions and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Testing: Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing.
  • Lead implementation efforts.
Experience Required:
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
  • Experience implementing or enhancing payroll and HCM solutions in complex business environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading and supporting systems integration projects to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Experience working with Workday and/or Ascender Pay is highly desirable.
