We are working with a large Enterprise Business to secure an experienced Senior Project Manager with End to End Commercial Fit out and Relocation Experience
 
Key Information:
  • Daily Rate: up to $1090 per day incl. super
  • Contract Length: 12 months initially
  • Location: Sydney highly preferred | Melbourne secondary
  • WFH / In Office: The team aren’t mandated but due to the nature of the work, most spend 3 days in the office

Your New Role:
This role is seeking someone who not only has worked in Property, Relocation and Fit out projects previously, but has really strong end to end project management experience.
 
You will be running this project in the context of a large Enterprise and will need to report into the PMO office, so project will be run with best practice methodologies behind it.
 
Your role will see you join a large Capital Work program that is being rolled out nationally. There are a number of Commercial sites and 7+ projects in the works with a total value of between $10 – 15 million. Your role will be to manage a number of fit out and / or relocation projects from inception to roll out. This will involve securing consultants, scope out their work, overseeing the change management piece, manage workshops right through to the change piece and will require someone who has managed similar projects from the beginning from Business Case Acceptance, right through to handing the new keys over (figuratively).
 
The responsibilities will encompass:
  • Obtaining Business Case approval (feasibility has already been determined)
  • Preparing Project Plans
  • Establishing governance
  • Setting up the steering committee
  • Setting up stakeholder workshops to determine new fit out needs
  • Managing RFP process to engage vendors + engagement with design consultants
  • Oversee the change management run by the change management team
  • Financial Management
  • Tracking and reporting on Project progress
  • Setting up Risk Management Framework and overseeing the Risk Management
  • Taking the project from initiation to completion
 
About You:
  • Senior Project Management Experience
  • Industry experience across Property, Fit Outs, Relocation Projects
  • Clear understanding of the key stage gates – must be able to explain these
  • Strong communicator + stakeholder management: you will be reporting to leadership
  • You will be proactive in your workstyle
  • You must be able to undergo ad hoc travel around Australia
 
 
***Travel required***
For these projects, you'll need to travel to see the sites, attend the sites for the workshops and while you’ll have external PMs, there will be a need to visit during the fit out.
You’ll be able to plan this in advance as the projects are still being shaped out
