IMMEDIATE - Payroll Analyst / Specialist - AUD 60 per hour - 38 hours - Council Environment

Role: Payroll Analyst / Specialist
Initial contract: Till Nov '26
Location: Petersham Admin Centre
Hourly Rate: AUD 60

MUST HAVE: Payroll legislation / Taxation / Superannuation / TechOne or similar HR/payroll systems

Overview: Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule in line with statutory, award, and policy requirements.
 
The preferred candidate will possess experience with TechnologyOne (TechOne) and demonstrate a proven ability to manage small projects involving detailed analysis and reconciliation.
 
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a local government
- Sound understanding of the Local Government (State) Award and related employment conditions.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation.
- Experience using TechOne or similar HR/payroll systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
- Proficiency in Excel and data reconciliation.
