A high-profile organisation based in Sydney CBD is undertaking a number of key projects and programs of work to uplift their technical environment and improve how data is managed and utilised by the business.
As a result, we're urgently looking to engage an experienced Data Engineer to support a key initiative based on their new cloud based data warehouse platform.
Your role as the Data Engineer will be to support business and data analytics team to migrate their annual reports from R code to SQL / Python in their new Databricks Data Intelligence platform.

To be successful in this role, we're looking for a strong blend of the following skills / experience:
  • Ability to convert code from R or other programming languages into SQL / Python
  • Strong programming ability in SQL / Python
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Databricks / Snowflake
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to create efficiencies and simplify code where appropriate
