Role Summary:

We're looking for experienced Relationship Managers who have directly dealt with Financial institutions (FIs). This is an exciting opportunity to join one of top foreign banks in Australia with total assets ranked in the world's Top 20 banks.

This position requires a self-motivated candidate with high energy and passionate in Financial Markets. You will: 
  • Build and manage relationships with banks and non-bank FIs to achieve assigned financial target revenues at individual and department level.
  • Develop good quality assets and liabilities, whilst identifying various geographic regions and new business opportunities for expanding FI businesses.
  • Contribute towards setting up of different pricing strategies for different Fi clients with the view to get agreements in place.
  • Set up credit lines for the banks and non-bank FI’s.
  • Carry out the necessary due diligence on the existing FI clients as well as introduce new relationships and provide recommendations on courses of action for all types of FI arrangements, including trade finance, nostro/vostros account, bond investment, etc.
  • Cooperate closely with Treasury team and other departments where applicable to initiate new businesses.
  • Writing credit proposals for new exposure as well as additional facilities for existing clients.
  • Closely monitor performances of accounts within their portfolio, maintain credit quality of the designated portfolio by minimisation of non-performing assets.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Required:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Australia in a similar capacity.
  • Good understanding of Treasury / FI products, regional and international market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong team work skills and adaptability to a multi-cultural work environment. 
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or relevant discipline;
  • Ability to deal and network successfully with various people within client, organisations and complex matrices, including top management staff.
