With a strong focus on technologies like blockchain and AI, my client fosters a dynamic, collaborative environment that balances professionalism with fun. They are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Sydney-based Finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Perform and assist with daily reconciliations
  • Monitor and support month-end close processes
  • Prepare monthly profit & loss, balance sheet reports, and cash flow forecasts
  • Complete quarterly BAS, Company Tax Returns, QTFN, and Annual Investment Income Reports
  • Assist with annual audit processes and the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Review financial records for accuracy and compliance
  • Manage budgets and cash flow
  • Liaise with internal departments and related entities
  • Deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in a financial accounting role
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency with accounting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivated, reliable, and collaborative team player
  • Full working rights in Australia
