Due to ongoing demand across the financial services products we have multiple opportunities across the banking industry for strong Senior Business Analysts with operating modelling expertise to commence an initial 6+ month engagement with the view to extend well into 2021.  The key focus for this position is business and customer operating modelling including process management, process design, process simplification and modelling for operations/ standard operation processes.

The purpose of the project is to meet the needs of the customer and to align the business strategy to de-risk, simplify, grow and excel.  

Your role will involve creating a process and target model for customer engagement by gaining commitment to implement from the program lead. The Senior Business Analyst becomes the requirements and design SME of the new model through to implementation, adoption and outcome realisation. This will involve specifying the epics, capabilities, features and user stories to support the new model, and driving the customer and employee validation.

Experience required for this role include:
  • 5 – 8 years of business operations and process management, including process design, process simplification, Standard Operating Processing and Modelling ideally across banking/financial services.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in operations process transformation
  • Business Analysis in process simplification.
  • Strong understanding of risk controls around processes
  • Experience across regulatory/ industry obligations
  • Facilitation of process design workshops involving participants from senior management, business users and system architects.
  • Operations and Process Business Architect / Analyst 
  • Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to effectively review current state and processes, as well as make best practice recommendations for future state.
  • High level interpersonal and written communication skills in a complex project environment.
