Our client, a major bank, is undergoing a detailed and rigorous assessment of multiple banking product suites in an effort to simplify and improve their offerings to customers.  They are looking to appoint a strong leader to take ownership of the current product strategy, influence senior, diverse stakeholders and drive improvements through the building of a tenacious and resilient transformation team. 
To be considered for this role you will have:
  • Several years' experience in product strategy and product management
  • Experience in transformation delivery utilising Agile Product Owner resources
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Very strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience in business and consumer transactional banking products/services a plus
  • Demonstrated history of building and managing great teams
  • A positive, can-do leadership style that inspires others to go the extra mile
In the words of the hiring manager, this is a twin role: you must be able to sell the dream of a simplified product suite, but then deliver against the promises made.

This is a senior level role with a salary that could reach $220K base, plus bonus, plus super.  The organisation has a mature, blended work approach with flexibility around office attendance dependent on deliverables.
