Our client, a major bank, is undergoing a detailed and rigorous assessment of multiple banking product suites in an effort to simplify and improve their offerings to customers. They are looking to appoint a strong leader to take ownership of the current product strategy, influence senior, diverse stakeholders and drive improvements through the building of a tenacious and resilient transformation team. To be considered for this role you will have:
Several years' experience in product strategy and product management
Experience in transformation delivery utilising Agile Product Owner resources
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Very strong negotiating and influencing skills
Experience in business and consumer transactional banking products/services a plus
Demonstrated history of building and managing great teams
A positive, can-do leadership style that inspires others to go the extra mile
In the words of the hiring manager, this is a twin role: you must be able to sell the dream of a simplified product suite, but then deliver against the promises made.
This is a senior level role with a salary that could reach $220K base, plus bonus, plus super. The organisation has a mature, blended work approach with flexibility around office attendance dependent on deliverables.
