IMMEDIATE - Environmental Compliance Officer - till End Dec '25 - AUD 120 -150 super per hour  - NSW Govt Client

Position Title  :   Environmental Compliance Officer
Till   :   End Dec '25
Pay Rate  :   AUD 120 -150 super per hour 
Hours of Work  :   4 hours p/d
Location  :   Deniliquin NSW 2710 ( or nearby )

MUST HAVE : Environmental Compliance / Construction Site Audit / White Card, 4WD training

Essential Skills and Experience
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state (e.g., NSW EPA), and federal environmental regulations
- Review and monitor compliance with site Construction Environmental Management Plans in line
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring (e.g., water quality, noise, dust)
- Liaise with contractors, regulatory agencies and Traditional Owners to ensure environmental expectations are met
- Provide environmental induction and ongoing training to site personnel to promote best practices
- Field-Based Work: Regular travel to remote construction sites, often in challenging terrain and weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to conduct site inspections, including walking (sometimes) long distances and exposure to construction hazards.
- White Card, 4WD training, and environmental audit certification.
