Join this ASX Listed Financial Services business with an enviable reputation. This is a newly created position and the successful candidate will lead the Line 2 Technology Risk function. Your mandate will be to support the CIO from a Line 2 Technology Risk perspective. This is a strategic position with people leadership and visibility across the business. Due to the companies work flexibility policy, the position can be based in QLD, VIC or NSW.

Duties:
  • Lead the oversight and monitoring of existing and emerging technology risks, controls.
  • Framework development, supporting with CPS 230 / CPS 220 and other regulatory changes.
  • Lead and manage issues and incidents, including risk acceptance.
  • Experience current or past in building / establishing or maturing a Line 2 Technology Risk function will be required.
  • Present findings at ELT and Sub-Committee meetings.
  • People leader with proven staff leadership and management skills.
 
Your background:
  • Experience gained in Audit or Risk with a strong understanding of Technology Risk OR a
  • Background as an Architect, Systems Engineer, Systems Analyst etc. with a past / current experience in Audit or Risk, or open to stay in a Technology Risk – Line 2 position for the next 2 years.
  • Understanding of technology risks  – in particularly software or applications development etc. a distinct advantage.
  • Understanding  of / or audit / or risk experience gained to concepts such as - End User Experience / Networks and / or Hosting  / CI/CD pipelines  / Infrastructure as Code / Code management tools / DevSecOps / Cloud Implementations / DevOps etc. will be highly advantageous, however not essential.
