Ethos Beathchapman in partnership with one of our key clients is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst with Regulatory Reporting experience to work on a range of high visibility programs.  This is a long term contract day rate opportunity, with hybrid working arrangements starting in April 2025.
The purpose of regulatory reporting is to provide organisational and regulatory oversight, governance, and to ‘get it right and put it right’ as promptly as possible.
To support this critical function, we are seeking experienced Technical Business Analysts who can work with risk stakeholders from senior executives, to teams that deliver products and services.
To be considered for this role, you will require technical reporting experience with a regulatory lens to work on a variety of projects within financial services. 

This will include:
Querying and understanding of data sources including mapping of target source data
Identifying and documenting data quality issues
Extracting and presenting insights from data to support the development, reconciliation, testing, and business acceptance of new regulatory reporting outcomes
 
Other requirements include:
Technical and data analysis including Strong SQL
Advance data mapping
Regulatory experience, this might include Basel III, APS220  etc
Minimum 5 years Technical Business Analyst
Agile delivery methodology and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
Due to the nature of the program, having financial services and industry knowledge is essential.
