Lease / Occupancy Portfolio Manager

EthosBC, in partnership with a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a Lease / Occupancy Portfolio Manager to lead the strategic planning and management of a large-scale leased property portfolio. This key role will focus on optimising space efficiency, managing workplace transitions, and providing data-driven insights to create a cost-effective and productive work environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a business-focused professional with strong lease management, space planning, and stakeholder engagement experience within a complex, large-scale environment. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to drive workplace transformations that align with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the organisation’s leased property portfolio to optimise costs and align strategies with business objectives
  • Lead space planning and allocation to ensure efficient utilisation and support workforce requirements
  • Analyse occupancy data to drive cost efficiencies, space optimisation, and strategic decision-making
  • Manage property leases, renewals, and compliance to optimise financial outcomes
  • Lead workplace transitions, including office moves and reconfigurations
  • Act as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders, landlords, property managers, and service providers to ensure effective lease and occupancy management
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 10+ years of experience in lease management, workplace strategy, or occupancy planning within large, complex organisations
  • Proven track record in managing leased property portfolios and driving workplace transformations
  • Strong knowledge of workplace regulations, space planning tools (e.g., CAFM/IWMS), and occupancy data analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with project management, particularly in workplace transitions and office relocations
  • Demonstrated experience in lease management, workplace strategy, or occupancy planning within large, complex organisations, with a strong focus on corporate environments.
  • Proven ability to manage leased property portfolios, driving operational efficiency and alignment with business goals in corporate settings.
