The role will sit within a business unit that delivers technology solutions for the customer portfolio via both online and staff facing channels. The applications delivered are focused on user experience and are built to utilise browser display capabilities for use on multiple platforms across multiple brands within the enterprise financial services organisation.

The Role:
You will provide expert technical and domain guidance to both business and IT. The role will be responsible for each project's end to end technical solution and its delivery by ensuring the integrated design, component delivery, overall testing and implementation meet requirements. 
 
The solutions would be mainly application based and predominately use technologies such as JavaScript UI with java based REST and API services that integrate with the banks enterprise databases and core host systems.
 
Requirements:
  • Over 10 years of experience and proven results in mid-senior level functions in the IT Industry
  • Strong knowledge in solution architecture, system design and contemporary IT practices
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript UI, Java based REST and API services
  • Experience with systems development, support and maintenance, with experience with systems integration
  • Ability to quickly understand the functions and capabilities of new technology
  • Team management and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Advanced analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills
  • A firm understanding of a financial services operating environment, applications and products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Chair meetings and effectively manage interpersonal conflicts and differing opinions
