I am recruiting a Senior Manager for one of the big4 banks who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining risk frameworks with relation to reporting on 11 credit risk prudential standards e.g. ASP 112, 113, 130, 220 etc. The role would suit someone who has worked in a regulatory team around APRA standards and implementing controls and improvements to risk reporting.

Role Responsibilities
  • Establish & maintain a framework that sets out key principles & standards to be met by Risk Reporting
  • Actively translate & provide guidance regarding compliance with policies for the returns that Risk Reporting owns.
  • Provide governance & oversight in relation to report controls.
  • Provide governance, oversight and verification of regulatory returns and Financial Statement disclosures owned by Risk Reporting.
  • Embed risk reporting practices consistent with the guidance from Basel Committee, regulators and senior management (prudential, statutory and Board).
  • Provide subject matter expertise to projects that impact Risk Reporting
  • Risk assess credit risk report and recommend prioritisation report remediation builds
  • Review reporting suite to ensure compliance tor Statutory, Regulatory, Prudential, Board and Senior management reporting
  • Develop business requirements for report remediation
  • Provide expert knowledge and collaborate with the Risk Reporting teams to design and build dashboards/reports/papers
  • Strengthening the control framework and enhance risk reporting governance
Role Requirements
  • 6 to 9 years work experience
  • Audit experience Credit/ Finance
  • Knowledge of Credit analysis and reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications Commerce, Finance, Economics or relevant degree
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Working within a regulatory team/with regulators is very important
