We have an exciting opportunity available within a large ASX Listed FMCG & Consumer group with a local and international footprint. The Senior Internal Auditor will enjoy a mix of Audit and Assurance duties across whole of business. Reporting directly to an experienced Head of Audit, you will be part of a nimble team.

This is  a growing business thus this position could offer additional growth and development opportunities in future. This position will liaise with executives and the broader business, thus strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

The successful incumbent will have a strong background in Audit (External or Internal), Assurance or Operational Risk. Some experience in utilising data analytics as part of the audit/assurance process is advantageous.

Duties:
  • Testing of controls across business operations and group functions.
  • End-to-end management of the Audit and Assurance process up to report writing.
  • Perform Data Analytics - Extract data, interpret and visualise as part of the Audit & Assurance process.
  • Stakeholder engagement - Communicate findings with stakeholders and presenting of findings.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified or part qualified CA / ACCA / CPA / CISA or other OR
  • Degree with 4-6 years' experience in Internal or External Audit / Assurance or Operational Risk.
  • Big 4 Firm or Chartered experience beneficial.
  • Experience within the Utilities / Infrastructure / Pharma / Retail / FMCG / Supply Chain or other commercial sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Experience using any Data Analytics tools such as SQL / ACL / Advanced Excel with visualisation tools such as Python / Alteryx / IDEA / R / PowerBI etc. will be advantageous but not essential.
  • Influential, solution focused and deadline driven with strong people skills.
