About the Business:
This tier one life insurer has assets of over $31bn and has been serving customers in A/NZ since the mid 1800. The business is an in-force specialist and is still supporting a large book and supporting customers with excellent service.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • End to end experience investigations and provide detailed review on capital margins and assumptions
  • Provide in-depth analysis and insights to the Leadership team on business performance drivers
  • Lead transformation work within the business through automating and streamlining data
  • Manage and lead a team of Actuaries and support when required
  • Support the Appointed Actuary’s statutory responsibilities
 
About Yourself?
  • 7+ years of life insurance experience (preferably in Australia)
  • Experience in Retail and Group Life and Disability markets
  • Strong understanding of experience investigations and valuations methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
