This role is a great one, a unique opportunity to work with a small niche team that specialise in building Digital platforms for Non-For-Profit organisations. Products are typically focussed on community engagement, mental health programs, indigenous & disability services and the like. I am actively looking for 2 Software engineers who are experience across Frontend pages & apps in Angular (Typescript) whilst being able to developer the end to end product with Java API's and Springboot microservices.

This role has you as a technical team member in a team of 4 developers where you will have great impact on direction, codebase and all new features of entire end to end products that make a difference in the modern world.

Technical skillset & tooling
  • Java 8
  • Spring - Springboot Services strongly preferred however will consider passionate Java devs from an MVC background as well
  • Angular / Typescript / Angular 2-10 - however you want to flavour it this role has at least 30% of the time dedicated to building and connecting through to Typescript Angular Web Pages
  • Docker - Containerisation of feature is very important to this team to add scalability and flexibility to their platforms
  • We currently run PostgreSQL, Maven builds and IntelliJ IDEA - but experience in Gradle, Eclipse and any nonrelational DB is totally fine with the right attitude!

Nice to haves & future pipeline tech
  • Cordova - for hybrid mobile applications we are happy to upskill you and give opportunities to develop your skills in Cordova mobile apps
  • AWS - we are focussed on cloud hosting all of our work (currently done by out Senior Tech Lead) and you will get exposure and experience dealing with AWS systems
  • Security protocols and automated environments - sensistive data in Non-For-Profits will give you good experience with some of the secure data protocols that many of the bigger businesses out there work with as well!
