Market Risk Manager - Treasury

Scope of Role:
You will sit under the Funding & Liquidity Oversight team within the Market Risk division. The team closely partners with the traded and non-traded market risk oversight functions

Responsibilities:
* Play a key role in the funding and liquidity risk and how it affects the investment bank globally
* Provide holistic oversight of treasury and treasury-related risk across the business
* Interpret, review, and approve liquidity policies globally (as it pertains to APS210)
* Conduct deep dives into liquidity risk - especially the balance sheet to under stand the risks. 
* Uplift the regulatory compliance and report - have a true understanding of the key exposures
* Develop the internal liquidity risk framework and the deliverables related to regulatory liquidity requirements. 

You will work on projects that improve the internal liquidity risk framework as well as deliverables related to regulatory liquidity requirements. You will review transactions and provide an independent view on new funding proposals by Group Treasury and the businesses. The role has a mix of quantitative and qualitative elements.

This team offers a great career path for an analytical, inquisitive individual with strong numerical skills and an interest in market/treasury risks. Qualifications in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial or similar is highly advantageous.

You will bring to this role:
*  3+ years of post-graduate experience in a Financial services domain 
* Exposure to in a Treasury or Treasury Risk role is preferred but nto necessary
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability particularly when it comes to understanding and communicating key risk drivers
* Strong understanding of balance sheet concepts 
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
