Join an award-winning global market maker that helps meet the liquidity needs of asset managers, banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, government agencies, and public pension programs.

This is a global business, with colleagues in London and the United States as well as Sydney. 

The Sydney office is currently made up of 20 people from technology to financial specialists, with plans to triple the team over the next year to 18 monhs. 


Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of an established and experienced development team to build intuitive, high performance, and reliable trading applications using modern web technologies
  • Communicate and collaborate with business users and peer technology teams
  • Provide application support to internal users

Qualifications:
  • Expert in front-end technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, Redux, TypeScript, ES6
  • Strong experience in designing/using REST APIs and services
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Financial Services experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience delivering enterprise-wide applications
  • Experience with Single Page Application Development
  • Exposure to Web Sockets and Web Workers are plusses
  • Exposure to Python, SQL, scripting languages are plusses
  • Financial industry experience is also a plus
