The Test Lead/Manager will work across a Digital based project focusing on the migration of business-critical applications from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016. The individual will have prior experience of working on a large-scale or complex technical migration as a Test Lead or Manager. 

As a Test Lead, the role will involve working closely with the SharePoint site owners, Business and Technical Analyst, Consulting Architects, Project Manager, Vendors, the Business and the Technology Support teams. The position holder will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the assigned initiatives, deliverables and tasks, and that the appropriate processes and procedures are used consistently in the context of Test Management. The role is primarily focused on all aspects of test management and coordination, planning, preparation and execution, of all ShrePoint sites in scope.

The role will start as an initial contract running into the end of the first quarter of 2021 with the view to extend. Financial Services is desirable but not essential.

Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Lead Role
  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate
  • Understanding of the Agile and/or system development lifecycle
  • Experienced in Confluence and JIRA
  • Experience of working on similar projects to deliver key technology deliverables such as building connectivity, WiFi, Audio Visual and video conferencing
  • Proven experience in Information Communication Technology (ICT), application integration, data migration, interface mapping
  • Excellent understanding of Network and Security, Telecommunications including Cisco Contact Centre, Audio Visual and Video Conferencing infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of Digital Workplace technologies (O365, Intune, Webex etc) and the end user experience.
  • Excellent ability to engage and lead business representatives in preparation and execution of UAT and BVT
  • Strong conceptual and practical understanding of IT Infrastructure, SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) / ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) experience across infrastructure and application development projects
  • Excellent stakeholder, vendor and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and delivering successful results
  • Experience in process modelling, data modelling and prototyping
