IMMEDIATE - Civil Project Manager - Construction - Till Sept'26  - Council Project  - Council Project
Position Title  :   Civil Project Manager
Tenure  :   12 months
Pay Rate  :   AUD 95 - 100 including super / hour
Hours of Work  :   38 hrs / week
Location  :   Sydney

MUST HAVE : Civil / Construction Project Management / Capital works projects
Overview :-
Manage the delivery of assigned Capital works projects.
Developing and delivering a range of projects by using your knowledge of Local Governments Building and Construction Industry.
- Liaising with governing authorities and/or utility providers
- Coordinating design, managing contractors, providing technical direction and ensuring projects are delivered within pre-determined limits of time, cost and quality.

Skills
- Project Manage the initiation, design and implementation of a wide range of projects
- Review draft design documentation to assess constructability and/or possible omissions.
- Develop technical requirements for request for quotations or tenders (RFQ or RFT)
- Reviewing of specifications and drawings for inclusion with documentation.
- Develop an evaluation plan and act as chairperson for the evaluation of assigned project/s for procurement.
- Perform the duties of Chairperson of evaluation panels for tenders on assigned projects.
- Act as Superintendent’s Rep on assigned projects.
- Manage the construction delivery of assigned projects via external contractors and service providers.
- Provide technical advice on assigned projects
- Project control groups (PCGs), providing status reporting and contract management
