The Organisation:

A thriving foreign bank in Australia is looking for a self motivated finance & accounting professional with 3 years of working experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector. Joining an experienced team, you will learn about corporate banking and financial markets operations whilst applying your knowledge into commercial practice. 
 

Responsibilities:
  • Process Treasury transactions (Treasury Money Market, FX, NCD bought settlement, DEPO SWAP, ECD, NCD issuance settlement etc.)
  • Process Trade Finance & Loan Business related transactions (loan settlements, payments and follow-up receipts, loan limit activation and initial draw-down, draw-down rate setting and renewing etc.)
  • Process Payments & Settlements (SWIFT, AUSTRACLEAR, RITS etc.), follow up and investigate late and error payments.
  • Manage Interbank accounts (Nostro).
  • Bank reconciliation and transactions clearing.
  • IFTI reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Finance / Accounting 
  • At least 2 years working experience in financial institution, preferably in an accounting or operations function.
  • Experience in payment systems and channels -SWIFT, Austraclear/ Clearstream/ Euroclear, RITS, International Trade Finance documentations and rules (URC522, UCP600 and URDG758) is highly advantageous.
  • Self organised and motivated operator with high level of independence and integrity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Proficient in both English and Simplified Chinese - spoken and written.
