We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a Banking and Finance organisation for an initial 6 month contract. 

The Test Manager will be working closely with business stakeholders - technical, business focused, end users, and vendors both on-shore and off-shore. Working in an agile environment you will set up and introduce governance around testing and coordination along with managing multiple integrated system projects.

The role will be to coordiante the Testing team who will be working on an application integration based project.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively participating in project meetings (SCRUMs, sprint planning, release planning) in order to understand current activities, priorities and competing pressures.
  • Documenting high-level Test plan (including technology profile, identification of technical or business testing resources and scope) for each release and coordinate relevant SIT and UAT activities.
  • Documenting Release Plan for each release and coordinate relevant deployment activities from Dev to Production release.
  • Weekly reporting on Test & Release activities.
  • Prepare comms for release as required.
  • Support the Project Manager with house-keeping (management of accurate records related to test and release activities).
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Agile, Integration testing and middleware technologies.

Skills:
  • Experience in the Banking & Finance Sector
  • Stong advocate of Agile methodologies
  • Strong track record of managing technical teams
  • Expereienced in running integraton projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to drive outcomes
  • Ability to be hands on when required
