My client is seeking multiple Solution Architect’s to plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the organisational business requirements, while also developing and maintaining the solution architecture blueprint. This position also validates the inseparability of solution modules under development by in-house software development teams, commercial off-the-shelf software deployed in the organisation, and with external third parties, as required. 

Key responsibilities 

- Consult across the organisation to plan, architect, design and support the implementation of business focused solutions that align with the broader Digital Strategy and Enterprise Architecture goals. 
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including analysts, developers and platform owners to understand their desired outcomes and provide guidance to developing business case and project proposals. 
- Provide Solution Architecture designs for projects that align with organisational capability requirements and Enterprise Architecture standards.  
- Create and continually review digital and technology solutions and road maps for all organisational project priorities. 
- Define, implement and maintain digital and technology standards across all designated areas of responsibility. 
- Commit to project deadlines and provide a high standard of practice and documentation in alignment with Enterprise Architecture governance frameworks.
- Prepare and present designs and road maps to the Architecture Review Board. 
- Contribute to the maturation of the Architecture Review Board as well as the overall Enterprise Architecture framework, standards and tool set. 


- Minimum 5 years of extensive experience working with, developing and implementing digital and/or technology solution architecture in a complex business environment. 
- Demonstrated ability to develop customer-centric architecture solutions and contribute to the success of an organisation. 
- Extensive experience working with and relaying complex process solutions to a technical and non-technical audience. 
- Extensive experience in evaluating and developing enterprise and solution level architectural designs, and creating quality   business cases. 
- Strong architect-level skills with experience in optimising performance, scalability, security, high-availability, monitoring and mobility, while overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems
- Strong background in risk management methodologies as they relate to integration and software engineering.
- Proven knowledge of current IaaS service offerings (Azure preferred).
- Proven knowledge of Azure (Data Services, Web Services, Service Bus, Logic Apps etc.). 
- Proven knowledge of integration best practices.
- Proven knowledge of the ITIL Service Management Framework and its practical execution.
- Proven knowledge within Project Management Frameworks (AGILE/PRINCE2) and their practical execution.
