I've got the pleasure of working with a long term client of mine who specialise in Innovative digital transformation in the software world. Making a name for themselves across Melbourne and Sydney this team of A team engineers have worked for some of the biggest start & scale-up businesses in the country and are bringing the innovation and AGILE method to the forefront of enterprise businesses.

This is the opportunity to get involved in the Sydney team's scaling phase, as their Melbourne operation has grown dramatically the last 2 years now it's sydney's turn to kick things up to 110%.

This role combines AGILE delivery principles with bespoke software engineering across Javascript, Java & Typescript - with an emphasis in Polyglot backend engineering with an interactive React UI layer as such you're welcome to come from any JVM or Web API technology if you've got the right attitude to progress.

Technologies we favour:
  • React - the lifeblood of the Javascript & Typescript world, almost all UI tranformations are focussed around it and at least 30% of most project will involve interacting with or building React flows.
  • JVM - we prefer Kotlin due to the speed of scale - however a background in Springboot is also regarded well internally
  • Node - either in a middleware of backend capacity (Express, Nest) we use a lot of Lambda functions so Node is always beneficial
  • Cloud computing - whether it be regular containerisation, orchestration using K8's or microservices into AWS these skills are sought after highly in the market and we value them highly as well.
