This position is at the heart of numerous projects - interacting with the regulators and helping to translate regulatory requirements into business objectives. All whilst providing governance over numerous different project streams. The goal of this transformation is to be the gold standard of how a business should improve and modernise its Risk Management capabilities. Role Responsibilities
Provide high level technical expertise in risk, governance and prudential standards
Drive the development and continuous improvement of the RMS, RMF, RAS and other relevant documents to ensure compliance and efficiency to end users
Provide technical advice to Documentation specialists and others regarding governance and prudential requirements
Provide input to the Group Policies and Frameworks quarterly GLT Risk Committee Paper.
Working with the Document Specialists to maintain the Central Document Register to ensure it is up to date, accurate and is the one source of truth.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the Exemption Register.
Contributes to the end to end review of Risk Group Frameworks, Group Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines. This includes:
Providing prudential standards’ best practice to document owners to ensure these reviews are compliant with regulatory standards
Initial review of the relevant document and providing feedback to the owner.
Liaise with the Secretary of the Policy Review Committee for the tabling of Group Frameworks and Group Policies to that committee.
Co-ordinate/manage work with contractors on Frameworks and Policies in conjunction with Manager Risk Documentation.
Provide governance and oversight of the implementation, embedment and adherence to relevant Group policies, frameworks and procedures.

Role Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in Insurance or Financial Services with experience in Prudential Standards CPS 220 Risk Management.
High level knowledge of APRA standards and experience interacting with the regulators
Strong Governance experience - Commitees/Forums/E2E reviews of Risk frameworks etc.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Risk Management or a related Risk discipline
Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and think broadly.
Strong willingness to learn, acquire new skills, continually enhance existing ones and exhibit flexibility.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and broader group to reach optimal approach
Proven relationship/stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
A tertiary degree or equivalent level of industry experience.
