we are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Senior DataOps Engineer to join a leading Financial Services company in Sydney. You will be monitoring, administrating, troubleshooting, and supporting an existing Cloud Data Platform, as well as automating tasks using your scripting experience.
You would be joining a growing Operations team that is responsible for business-critical systems, and all of the data flowing through the business. If you are a responsible, honest, proactive Engineer who is capable of taking the initative and following process, as well as mentoring and leading other Engineers, then this could be the next step for you.
What's Required:
- Strong Operations experience within Data Platforms
- Experience with installing / monitoring applications, troubleshooting / supporting data systems, and resolving critical incidents
- Experience with GCP and tools such as BigQuery, Airflow / Composer, Terraform
- Experience with scripting in Python for automation / debugging
- Reliable, responsible personality with the ability to take the initiative, take ownership of problems, and communicate instructions to the wider team
