Program of Work:
Sitting within a technically strong Regulatory Affairs team, you will work in a technical and commercial role overseeing the regulatory trends to meet obligations to APRA.
 
The Role:
  • Develop expertise with a hands-on role in analysing new business, product and transactions
  • Strong understanding of compliance and APRA standards (ex: APS 222) and how it affects the business in particular the bank and non-bank
  • Execute strong analytical judgement within the business and how it affects the business
  • Deliver and present scopes of work to executive management and preparing senior leaders for key meetings with APRA
Skill Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications of finance, economics, accounting, law or public policy is preferred
  • 2+ years to credit or operational risk, regulatory compliance, treasury or legal within a banking environment or a prudential regulator
  • Big 4 Consultancy background is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to disseminate prudential standards
