We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join one of the country's largest organisations. Based in the Sydney CBD, the Salesforce Developer will be joining a growing and evolving Team.
The role is responsible for collaborating with the business to develop and implement Salesforce core platform and app exchange solutions on the Salesforce and Conga platforms.

Responsibilities:
  •  Design and development of some Salesforce features across key modules using Apex classes, triggers, batches, web services and visual force and lightning components
  •  Guide Salesforce administrators with creation of reports, customization of page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules and record types
  •  Provide insight into Salesforce development best practises to ensure functionality meets business needs
  •  Experience with CI/CD and change control process
  •  Solution design & prototyping to replace a legacy system and migrate all the data into AWS S3 with Salesforce as search interface
  •  Well versed and experience in working in agile-scrum development teams
  •  Ensure timely and efficient development, maintenance and support to business
  •  Good Knowledge in complex Database queries, Stored procedures, views and triggers
  •  Experience in Technical Documentation – Installation/Upgrade/DR/Release Documents/User manuals/Videos
  •  Experienced in unit testing, manual and selenium testing and test case identification
  •  Establish continuous learning and improvement loops that allow adjustment/iteration of practices/processes/tools across groups to drive Agile maturity

Skills:
  • 3 years’ experience as Salesforce Developer with Administration duties in a large organisation, preferably Financial Services
  • Working proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visual Force, HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL
  • Ability to optimise use of Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector), Demand Tools, Eclipse Force.com IDE) and release deployment from Development, UAT to Production Environments (Change sets, Ant Migration Tool)
  • Capabilities across Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Architecture Solutioning, Agile Product Development and Delivery for Salesforce.com CRM applications: business discovery, requirements gathering, user journey & process mapping, workshop facilitation, product vision & release plan development, architecture & platform solutioning, documenting and translating business requirements (user stories) into functional & technical requirements (test acceptance criteria, configuration steps and coding/programming specifications)
  • Familiarity with Big Data, data migrations, data quality, systems & data integrations, API development, third party applications, AppExchange products
  • Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces across web and mobile channels (desirable)
  • Projects, product and release deployments, Agile collaboration and delivery experience, JIRA and Confluence

Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure) from a data architecture and a data integration perspective would be preferred but not essential
This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the likelihood of converting to fulltime or being extended.
