Our client a leading NSW Government Department are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Recruitment Consultant to join their team on a 6 month basis with high potential for extension.
As a respected and important part of the  team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring that their recruitment function runs smoothly. You will be responsible for professionally communicating with internal and external job seekers and stakeholders, flawlessly handling confidential matters, and managing multiple priorities with a great deal of care.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Implement sourcing strategies (LinkedIn recruitment, Seek Talent, etc.) 
  • Screening resumes and application materials
  • Conducting Interviews (Face to Face & MS Teams)
  • Strong reporting skills and excel experience  
  • Assisting with reference checks
  • Assisting with following up on compliance documents
  • Performing data entry duties
  • Creating job ads
  • Providing strategic high-quality support to a friendly, busy, tight-knit recruitment team
  • Proactively managing the shared inbox
  • Performing ad hoc administrative duties as requested by management and the recruitment team


About You:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • 3+ years of recruitment / HR experience is preferred
  • If you have experience working in NSW Government that is a plus
  • Polished and friendly communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy / solid tech skills
  • Proven data entry skills
  • Exceptional communication skills – Professional, tactful, and timely
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards change
  • Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and priorities multiple tasks seamlessly
