Looking for a Mobile Technical Lead to join a leading financial services company.

This will be 100% working from home initially with flexible working options for when the office reopens in Sydney CBD. This role is offering $140K - $150K + super + company benefits.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in iOS and have good understanding of Android tools. Looking for someone who is passionate about mentoring, cares about quality code and will support the developers by liaising with BAs and stakeholders on their behalf.

The project is a complete re-write of the iOS company application using the latest mobile technologies, however you will be working in a cross-functional team on multiple projects. Experience working for an enterprise organisation is desired.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply expert knowledge of systems to inform Architecture and Solution Design optimal design
  • Ensure that applications are developed with consistent maintainable code which supports risk and compliance management
  • Mentoring developers within the team
  • Complete detailed design and functional specification, and provide deep technical expertise downstream in build and test.
  • Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex service issues to ensure effective development, maintenance and support of applications
  • Collaborate with the team to determine the solutions to difficult engineering problems. Apply Design Thinking principles, Agile methodologies, Lean principles wherever suited
  • Help define and implement DevOps tasks, maintain focus on industry trends to enable evaluation and recommendation of changes to application development, maintenance and integration
