Rate: $700 + super per day

Duration: December 2024 - (possibility of extension)
WFH: 2 day in office (Tuesday and Wednesday)

One of Sydney's top 5 Universities are looking for a Marketing Analytics Lead to join their team on a 6 Month contract.

About the role


The Marketing Analytics Lead is responsible for the development and implementation of the University’s digital insights and analytics strategy to inform and develop customer engagement.

Working closely with the Digital Performance Lead and various client groups, they cover a wide variety of areas, from web and social analytics to data strategy, transformation, media and platform optimisation, measurement, and reporting and tracking.

The Marketing Analytics Lead is the subject matter expert for thought leadership around digital analytics, measurement and marketing technologies within the Marketing and Communications function.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a digital analytics strategy that provides Marketing and Communications with reporting on the effectiveness and engagement of content on the University’s web platform from key audience segments.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the University’s customer data platform and identify new opportunities to leverage the technology.
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise across Marketing and Communications (and its stakeholders) in the use of digital analytics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of standardised Analytics dashboards for product owners to inform decisions around audience behaviours and opportunities to optimise and personalise experiences.
  • Guide the decision-making and strategic planning across the Marketing and Communications division through managing the availability of high-quality data and analytics and providing specialist advice, interpretation, and guidance to senior stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice, high-level insights, and make recommendations based on analytics data to personalise experiences on the University’s most trafficked sites.
  • Design, plan and implement campaign performance measurement systems including but not limited to cross-channel tracking. Provide specialist feedback, leadership, and guidance to stakeholders based on expert analysis of the performance measurement outcomes.
  • Work with media agencies on university campaigns to identify opportunities to integrate the University’s data and analytics. Design and implement new processes and procedures to address these opportunities.
  • Drive the integration of a consistent marketing-led customer data and analytics strategy across various University systems to provide a single view of audiences.
  • Lead the implementation of Adobe Analytics tagging on websites, mobile sites, and apps, including ad hoc projects and code iterations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a community of Adobe Analytics users across the Marketing and Communications division.
  • Lead the development and timely delivery of customer journey mapping
Experience
  • Higher Education or Public sector Experience
  • Strong experience in marketing technology platforms, e.g. Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, CDPs, etc. 5 years exp
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Target is highly beneficial.
  • Extensive experience with digital media performance and attribution analysis
  • Extensive experience in digital analytics including platform configuration and tag management
  • Excellent understanding of the digital landscape and how the various performance channels fit within the digital ecosystem
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised, with strong planning and analysis skills.
  • Extensive experience project managing multiple work streams, or leading large complex projects and ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage competing demands.
