We are currently recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager within a prominent Federal Government Agency. This newly created position offers great flexibility and hybrid working arrangements for those professionals eager to add value whilst maintain a healthy work-life balance.

This position is within the Government Services division of the business, thus it will focus on end-to-end internal audits - some duties:
  • Lead and conduct risk-based financial, performance and compliance audits across the company’s business units.
  • Manage end-to-end audit planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow up on agreed management action plans to completion.
  • Attend audit meetings, presenting findings and fielding questions.
  • Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Plan.
  • Stakeholder management, assisting in delivering high quality audit projects to budget and deadlines.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Qualified or part qualified CA / CPA / ACCA / CIA OR Degree with 4+ years' Internal Audit experience.
  • Internal Audit experience could be gained from Chartered / Government / Financials Services or Industry sectors.
  • Experience gained within any State, Federal or Local Government entity in Australia is highly advantageous, or keen interest to work in Government.
  • Strong communications skills, agile, self-directed and a strong team player needed.
  • Able to work independently or within a team environment.
