We are working with a leading Australian insurer to find a skilled Intelligence Analyst to join their Claims & Assessing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your analytical and investigative abilities to make a real difference in identifying and preventing fraudulent claims. You'll be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your insights will contribute to protecting the company and its customers. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct impartial reviews of claims to determine the need for further investigation.
Prepare comprehensive intelligence briefings for investigators.
Utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques to gather information and evidence.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, assessors, and legal teams.
Analyze data and evidence to identify fraudulent trends and patterns.
Contribute to the development and improvement of fraud detection strategies.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging fraud trends.
Required Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., criminology, intelligence, law enforcement).
Proven experience in an investigative or intelligence role, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in OSINT techniques and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
