About the Opportunity:

We are working with a leading Australian insurer to find a skilled Intelligence Analyst to join their Claims & Assessing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your analytical and investigative abilities to make a real difference in identifying and preventing fraudulent claims. You'll be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your insights will contribute to protecting the company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct impartial reviews of claims to determine the need for further investigation.
  • Prepare comprehensive intelligence briefings for investigators.
  • Utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques to gather information and evidence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, assessors, and legal teams.
  • Analyze data and evidence to identify fraudulent trends and patterns.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of fraud detection strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging fraud trends.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., criminology, intelligence, law enforcement).
  • Proven experience in an investigative or intelligence role, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in OSINT techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
