IMMEDIATE - GIS Architect - AUD 1200 + super - Macquarie Park

Title                : GIS Architect
Location         : Macquarie Park (Hybrid)
MUST HAVE  : ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro/ GIS program/ GIS data schemes

12 months (possible extension)
Pay Rate: $1200 + Super
Location: Macquarie Park  + WFH
Hours of work: 8 max hrs a day, 40 hrs per week

Primary purpose of the role
The role manages the technical implementation and uptake of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) across project teams, key stakeholders and delivery partners. This role also coordinates and assures GIS deliverables from suppliers delivering Client projects.
 
Key accountabilities
  • Lead the technical implementation of GIS across programs, (staff training, design development)
  • Co-develop and implement GIS processes and data schemas to manage information
  • Implementation and technical support of technologies to enable improved GIS project deliverables.
  • Provide technical review and assurance of project deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with project-specific GIS requirements and data schemas.
  • Report on project implementation of the GIS, reporting on progress, cost, quality and technical issues
  • Maintain knowledge and drive continual improvement of GIS
