This job involves helping people who’ve been injured in car accidents and have made insurance claims. Sometimes, these people don’t agree with the outcome of their claim or want more information—your job is to fairly and independently review those situations and make sure the right decisions are made.
You’ll be part of a team that:
Reviews insurance claim decisions when customers ask for a second look.
Makes sure customers are treated fairly and that their complaints are handled properly.
Works with other team members to improve how things are done.
What you’ll actually do:
Review and reassess car accident injury claim decisions (CTP claims).
Ensure information is recorded properly and personal data is kept private.
Support your team with things like training, sharing knowledge, and using internal systems.
Communicate professionally with both internal teams and external regulators (e.g., government bodies).
Who you’ll work with:
Internal teams within the client.
External regulators like the NSW Personal Injury Commission or ACT Motor Accident Insurance Commission.
What kind of background is helpful:
Ideally, a background in law, health, business, or dispute resolution.
Experience working in personal injury or car accident insurance claims (2+ years preferred).
Good communication, fairness, attention to detail, and willingness to help others.
