What You Will Bring
Bring your significant experience in senior leadership positions in governance roles, coupled with a deep understanding of the superannuation industry. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting Registrable Superannuation Entities (RSE) Boards to meet fiduciary obligations, challenging service providers to uphold standards, and advocating for member interests.
 
Principal Accountabilities
  • Prioritise Member Interests: Advocate for members’ outcomes, Effective Challenge: Provide robust challenge to Insignia Financial Group in delivering Trustee and member outcomes.
  • Business Planning Support: collaborate on the development and implementation of business plans focused on quality member outcomes.
  • Conflict Management: identify and raise conflicts of interest to support  the prioritisation of members' financial interests where appropriate.
  • Conflict Mitigation: Act as a first-line risk mitigant, providing insights on service provider performance.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships and have oversight of services providers on behalf of the Trustee.
  • Promote Member Office: Raise awareness of the Member Office's importance within the organization and work with the Trustee to ensure that member Office has appropriate roles, responsibilities, delegation and authority to deliver to the Member Office remit.
  • Strategic focus:Assess planned activities and changes for alignment to the Trustee’s strategic objectives, quality member outcomes and ability to deliver to plan Integrated Leadership: Leadership of a Member Office which integrates across the key divisions and forums ensuring a member lens across the value- chain.

Qualifications and Years of Experience
  • Experience: Significant experience in senior leadership positions in governance or legal roles working closely with Boards and senior Executives.
  • Superannuation Experience: In-depth knowledge and experience working in the superannuation industry, with retail superannuation experience .
  • Trustee Office Experience: proven track record working with or within a Trustee support office at a senior level is essential.
  • Qualifications: A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent, coupled with membership in relevant professional bodies.
