Our client is a fast-growing multinational company with more than 10,000 employees, and 42 offices in 21 countries across the globe. The company provides IT consulting services across industries with special focus on financial services and automotive sectors.

Their client is a leading Tier 1 bank looking to appoint a Technical Business Analyst immediately.

Technical Business Analyst covering the following key areas:
  • Work as a member of an agile scrum team in the areas of data acquisition, liquidity reporting, transfer pricing, interest rate risk, and regulatory reporting 
  • Analysis of data quality Production Incidents and BAU issues
  • Analysis of user interface Production Incidents and BAU issues
  • Assessing technical impact of changes proposed to fix the production incidents/bugs and user reported BAU issues
  • Reverse engineer existing BAU solutions based on Excel Macros or Python Scripts to extract the logic/requirements with minimal user involvement
  • Specifying and designing solutions for change/enhancements rose from User Issues/Production Incidents
  • Unit testing and complete functional testing of developed solutions based on own and other's requirements
  • Prepare regulatory regression reports and reconciliation difference reports to perform regression testing and explain test results on a functional and if required a technical level
  • Interface with business stakeholders to explain change impacts and obtain business approval of changes implemented on unit, integration and regression test level 
  • Provide, document and present analysis to problems/Production Incidents discovered

Mandatory Skills:
  • Proven track record of quick Production Incident and BAU issues investigation and resolution, specifying and designing solutions, functionally testing own and other's solutions once developed using the following: 
  • Financial products knowledge 
  • Data analysis
  • Testing functional change.
  • SQL - development and analysis 
  • Good written and verbal communication 
  • Familiarity with Agile and Jira 
  • Familiarity with Ab Initio GDE
  • Familiarity with Ab Initio Control Centre and Jobs
  • Familiarity with Ab Initio MDH
  • Familiarity with Python Scripting
