Join a Tier 1 General Insurer as they work through the reserving support focusing on Liability and Financial lines products.

Permanent Opportunity
Location: Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane
 

Role & Responsibility:
  • Development and execution of the end-to-end reserving process for Liability and Financial Lines products including all statutory deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Claims, Underwriting, Finance and Business functions to provide actionable insights that will drive portfolio performance.
  • Oversee and execute uplift on the reserving platform to unlock efficiencies 

Requirements:
  • Tertiary Education in Actuarial Studies
  • Fully Qualified Actuary
  • Extensive general insurance reserving experience, preferably in long tail products.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent technical skills in SAS, R, Python or similar
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
