My client is a prominent player within the Asian financial markets, trading a range of products across jurisdictions and exchanges including Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, and Japan exchanges.

An exciting opportunity has opened-up for a detail-oriented, highly organised, and collaborative individual to join the Front Office team as a Trade Support Analyst. Working closely with the trading desk, this role would suit an individual who’s confident in building relationships with a range of stakeholders in a fast-paced and energetic environment.

The role:

Working as part of a small team, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure the smooth execution, crossing, confirmation, and reconciliation of all trades booked T+0
  • Collaborate with the traders, liaise with internal control teams, and build relationships with external parties in order to achieve this.   
  • Build relationships with a number of external parties, including brokers, direct counterparties and clearers, to cross and clear a high volume of trades and to ensure a streamlined trade process.
  • Investigate and resolve any general position and pricing issues that present themselves throughout the trading day.
  • Explore opportunities to implement improvements to processes and complete projects and analysis using Python or VBA.
Your experience:
  • A relevant degree – e.g. Finance, Commerce/Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial etc
  • Proven financial markets experience, you will be working either in a Trade Support, Middle Office or Operations role.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable communication skills and an appetite to build and foster strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong interest in financial markets.
  • Working experience with Python, Excel, VBA and SQL will be highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
