Our client a leading NSW Government Department are seeking a Technical/Change Writer to join their team on a contract until the end of financial year with potential for an extension.
The role is CBD based with flexibility to work from home a number of days per week.
Day to day duties
Capture detailed functional and technical requirements for project documentation.
Document current state and future state processes (system and business).
Support development of key project documents, for example Solution Design Document, training materials, user and administrator guides
Collaborate with other business areas to develop staff communications and support the change management/business readiness activities
Provide any other analysis to resolve business problems
Support user acceptance planning and coordination, including development of UAT scripts and cases
Support the PM by playing an active part in all phases of the project life cycle - from design to deployment and post go-live support
In order to be eligible for this role you will have
Demonstrated ability to develop both business and technical contexts and adjust documentation language according to target audiences.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with business and technical stakeholders
Documenting focus of Content Pages, Quick References, HTML files, and Technical Specifications
